Scarabeo Camp, Désert d'Agafay, Morocco

Hello dear readers, I am finally back with a new article and a new adventure !

After road tripping to the Mountains, the beaches and even the Sahara.. The wheels took me this time again to the Desert. Yes, the desert !

Remember when i told you Morocco had it all ? well, here is another breathtaking scenery that i had the chance to discover thanks to Scarabeo Camp who invited me for a stay at their beautiful and glamourous Camp disposed in the middle of the stone desert of Agafay.

Scarabeo Camp is only 45 minutes away from Marrakech, and it's actually hard to believe that just few miles away from all this greenery lies a breathtaing scenery of a stone desert !

Once we arrived, we've been served some Moroccan cookies and mint tea, and got to relax in the big guest tent while our Glamorous tents were being prepared for us.

The cozyness that emanates from the decors and the beautiful orangy color of most of the tents and fourniture makes you feel home and really send forth that traditional Moroccan spirit that i simply love.

Once our tents were ready, we immediately moved in to relax and change because boy ! it was too hot out there !
The tents are equipped with Hôtel standards beds that are so comfortable, Chemical bathrooms, mirrors and even a shower with hot water ! It's not called Glamping for no reason ! and since there was no electricity in the camp ( best decision ever ! ) i can't begin to tell you how lovely the tents and the entire camp looked by evening time !

Many relaxing spots are disposed around the camp where you can sit and enjoy the sun and the heavy/relaxing/fulfilling desert's quiet.

Lunch and Dinner were a succes, since fresh bread is baked daily in a small traditional earthen oven and seasonal organic vegetables are cooked simply to bring out the natural flavour of the fresh product.

By sunset time we took the car and went on top of one of the surrounding hills to watch the sun set over the stone desert and take some pictures of course.. and it was as beautiful as it could get !

Then the magical time came.. and we sat by the campfire while some distant music was softly playing in the background and time stood still. It was like nothing outside this place exists, and everything, the smells, the sound of fire crackling, the lights, the night scenery.. just transported us to another level of relaxation and magic.

Everything was lighted only by candles and the dinner tables were so charming and so cozy..
I sadly couldn't take pictures of our delicious dinner since my camera died and our phones were dead by 2pm already ^^ !
( Little advice, charge your phones and bring extra batteries with you ! No power and no electricity can be no fun for photographers.. )

Next morning we woke up so rested and ready for breakfast !

We had a cute little table at the entrance of our tent, so i just sat there a few minutes early in the morning simply to gaze at the mesmerizing stone hills and enjoy the silence as much as i can before i return to Casablanca.. Then it was breakfast time !

The camp also offers a variation of activities such as :
Yoga classes
Buggy or quad rides
Camel rides
Relaxing Massages
Stargazing..

Thank you Scarabeo Camp for having me, this Glamping experience was a succes. I however don't recommend it during summer because of the heat !
