Dakhla, Morocco

Hello dear friends ! You must be saying " Whaaaat ? Two articles in two weeks ?! " .. Yeah, but for some of you, this article was highly anticipated as there is no such thing called WINTER in Dakhla City and so many of you were sending me messages asking me to share my trip to Dakhla with you so you can know what to do and what to see there because a good number of you chose it as a destination for New Year's Holidays. WOW that was a mouthfull !
Anyways !! Here is my detailed trip to Dakhla that was exactly two weeks ago :'( tbt !

I will begin by sharing some pictures of our stay there..
Between the ocean, the lagoon and the desert, hundreds of miles from any kind of civilization (and around 28 km from Dakhla town), away from the crowd and the constant hustle and bustle of modern life, you will find a place where the notion of time is very different. This welcoming land of escape is the perfect place for relaxing and spending unusual holidays. You will find in this place, at the border of several worlds, influenced by the Moroccan and African cultures, an ideal location to open up to new sensations and horizons...

Dakhla, is the capital of Moroccan Windsurfers, So the stay ( and ALL the hotels there ) offers a variety of nautical sports, such as : Wind surf, Kitesurf, Stand up Paddle.. And also Boat trips !

Every Bungalow there have a name which i found super cute !

The next morning we went Boat tripping and exploring the famous Dragon Island, this island resembles to a sleeping Dragon. You can clearly see it's head and it's tail ( that one i couldn't capture with my camera because our boat was too close to the island and my angle wasn't wide enough ! ) " Photography Talk "

The sand on this island was so different and crystaly instead of the familiar sea shell sand.. ( If you Zoom the picture you'll see the difference ;) )

This island is also known for containing White Clay which of course has many benefits on the skin and the hair ! You can take as much as you want or you can just dip yourself in it and lay there for a few relaxing minutes !

On our way back, we came across another well known hotel there, and wherever our eyes turned there were Windsurfers..

At Dakhla you can also come across cars ON the beach...

First day was done, so we sat and watched Dakhla's sunset peacefully..

Seconde day we went exploring The White Dune which is located 30km away from Dakhla city heading toward Mauritania. It is a stunning natural phenomenon in the middle of the lagoon, and this wild site is also a favorite spot for flamingos ! that i couldn't capture with my camera because they ran away as we were coming. It is simply a beautiful place with a breathtaking scenery where you can swim and picnic and enjoy your existance and the beauty of our planet and this country.
